unpopularknittingopinions: I don’t think that variegated yarn looks good in most projects. it either creates splotches of colors or lines up wrong or drowns out any of the interesting stitch-work that might have been made in the project.  I know this is just someone’s opinion but it makes me sad.  It’s part of the challenge to find a pattern that works perfectly with the yarn.
